VAT Manager

Overview

An International Education Group is looking for a VAT Manager to join their team. This is a newly created role, reporting to the Head of Tax. You will be responsible for all management of the group''s compliance and advisory tax work. As the group is expanding into a number of international markets, the VAT Manager''s role is pivotal, ensuring compliance, strategy, controls and processes are in order.Responsibilities

Dealing with enquiries and providing VAT-related adviceOversee VAT compliance and ensure finance strategy conforms to VAT legislationInvestigate and keep informed of revised VAT legislation and advise internal and external stakeholdersMinimise VAT chargeReview VAT implications of group structure and advise subsidiariesLiaise with HMRC and manage stakeholdersProvide guidance on indirect tax issues to staff, providing specialist and high-level VAT adviceQualifications
