What you''ll be doing:

• Client advisory work - Providing strategic VAT advice on complex transactions and structures
• Project management - Taking ownership of advisory projects from start to finish
• Client relationship management - Building long-term relationships with key clients
• Technical research - Tackling challenging VAT issues and developing practical solutions
• HMRC liaison - Handling enquiries, disputes, and technical discussions
• Internal collaboration - Working with other departments to identify VAT opportunities

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong VAT technical knowledge across multiple sectors
• Advisory experience in a professional services environment
• Client-facing skills with the confidence to manage relationships independently
• Project management abilities with experience of working to deadlines and budgets
• HMRC experience - comfortable dealing with tax authorities
• Sector knowledge - particularly property, not-for-profit, or corporate finance (advantageous)
