Radley Green is partnering with a fast-growing firm to recruit a

VAT Associate Director

into its high-performing London team.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Tax, you will lead and grow a small VAT team, expand advisory services, and play a key role in driving commercial success. The role also offers great promotion opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the VAT service line: manage risk, ensure compliance, and set robust processes.

Drive growth by identifying opportunities, winning new business, and leading on VAT project work.

Build strong cross-departmental and client relationships across the London office and wider group.

Oversee VAT proposals, engagement letters, and review complex VAT returns.

Manage client portfolios including WIP, billing, and delivery of high-quality service.

Develop, mentor, and appraise team members, ensuring continuous training and CPD progress.

Collaborate with global service providers to deliver timely international VAT advice.

About You

CTA/ACCA/ICAEW qualified with 5+ years’ PQE and proven management experience.

Strong technical UK VAT expertise, with exposure to international VAT advantageous.

Track record of business development and delivering against commercial targets.

Excellent client service, communication, and leadership skills.

Collaborative team player who thrives under pressure and fosters a positive culture.
