VAT Assistant Manager

VAT Manager Are you a VAT specialist looking for a role that combines technical advisory work, client management, team leadership and business development? This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing indirect tax team where you''ll advise a broad range of SMEs and larger businesses on complex VAT matters while helping to develop both clients and junior team members. What You''ll Be Doing Delivering high-quality VAT advisory services across a varied client portfolio. Advising on complex VAT issues, including cross-border transactions, VAT planning and risk management. Acting as a key point of contact for clients and building long-term relationships. Supporting senior leadership on technical VAT matters. Identifying opportunities for additional advisory work and cross-selling services. Leading, mentoring and developing junior members of the VAT team. Managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Keeping up to date with VAT legislation and sharing knowledge across the team. What We''re Looking For ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent qualification. Strong VAT advisory experience gained within practice. Excellent technical knowledge of UK VAT. Experience managing a portfolio of clients. Strong client relationship and business development skills. Experience leading and developing junior team members.
