VAT Accountant

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, is currently looking for a VAT Accountant to join their team in Chester on a full time, 12-month temporary basis (35 hours per week).You will be overseeing VAT returns, reconciliations, and reporting as well as advising on VAT related queries for markets within the European and international region.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare VAT returns and other tax returns ensuring deadlines are metRequest VAT submission approvals from internal stakeholdersCreate VAT and sales general ledger reconciliationsRespond to any VAT related queries, liaising with internal and external stakeholders as necessaryRequirementsPan European VAT accounting experienceEducated to degree level in accounting/finance or equivalent disciplineGood understanding of SAP or OracleProficient Excel skillsStrong analytical skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPark Street People Ltd is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
