Van / Warehouse Operative

My client is currently looking to recruit a van driver / warehouse operative to join their team

This position is initially temporary. While there is potential for a permanent role, this is not guaranteed and will depend on the return of the current employee.

Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30 (40 hours per week).

You must hold a valid UK driving licence (up to 3.5 tonnes, LWB van). Previous van driving experience is preferred.

The role will involve approximately a 50/50 split between driving and warehouse duties, including loading/unloading and checking paperwork and products.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn
• Have good attention to detail
• Be comfortable with a role split between driving and other duties

The successful candidate must have an excellent attitude and be punctual and reliable.

Full training will be provided, and the successful candidate will be supported through a buddy system for a minimum of two weeks.
