Van Technician

We are seeking an experienced Van Technician to join a reputable main dealer in Northampton. This is a full-time-Van Technician position offering excellent earning potential and career progression within a well-established dealership. The Van Technician will be an integral part of a dedicated team, working in a modern, fully equipped workshop with advanced diagnostic tools and manufacturer support.

Duties:

• Diagnose, service, and repair light commercial vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Perform routine vehicle health checks and diagnostics.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality work and professional communication.
• Maintain safety and quality procedures at all times.
• Keep technical knowledge current through manufacturer training.
• Contribute to workshop productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:

• NVQ/C&G Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as a Van Technician.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• MOT Tester qualification (desirable but not essential).
• Previous main dealer experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
