Van Technician

This Van Technician position offers flexible scheduling options, including full-time, evening, or night shifts, to suit your personal needs. Duties as a Van Technician:

• Perform servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance on vans and light commercial vehicles
• Conduct both minor and major repairs to vehicle mechanical, electrical, and engine systems
• Carry out vehicle health checks and road tests
• Utilise diagnostic equipment for fault identification and troubleshooting
• Assist with wiring, camera systems, and electrical repairs as required
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workshop environment
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure efficient vehicle turnaround
• Communicate repair findings and recommendations clearly to team members and clients

Requirements:

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• Proven experience working as a Van Technician or in light vehicle servicing
• Strong technical knowledge across vehicle systems, including wiring and electrical components
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent diagnostic skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude
• High attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
