The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of goods, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of professionalism at all times. This role is ideal for individuals who are punctual, organised, customer-focused and able to work independently while following company procedures and health and safety guidelines. Event Work, Christmas time will be very busy Key Responsibilities Safely operate a company van in accordance with road traffic laws and company policies. Deliver and collect goods, parcels, materials or equipment to and from designated locations. Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and within the required timeframes. Load and unload goods safely, following manual handling procedures. Check delivery paperwork, manifests and items to ensure accuracy. Maintain regular communication with the transport office, client or line manager regarding progress, delays or any issues. Provide polite and professional customer service when dealing with customers and members of the public. Carry out basic vehicle checks before and after journeys and report any defects, damage or maintenance issues promptly. Keep the vehicle clean, tidy and in good working condition. Follow all health and safety procedures, including safe loading, unloading and securing of goods. ..... full job details .....
