Van Driver/Porter

CareerMakers Recruitment is currently looking for a Van Driver / Porter on behalf of our ever-growing client based in Bradford, BD1 Duties Include: Safely drive and manoeuvre company vans and light vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes, in line with UK road laws and company procedures. Complete daily vehicle safety checks and promptly report any defects or maintenance requirements. Safely load, secure, transport and unload furniture and equipment, using appropriate manual handling techniques and equipment such as tail lifts. Deliver, move and position furniture and equipment within customers'' homes, facilities and client sites, ensuring items are handled with care. Complete accurate delivery records, customer signoffs, vehicle checks and other required paperwork. Represent the company professionally, communicating courteously with customers, site teams and other stakeholders throughout each delivery. Requirements A full and valid UK driving licence. Willing to work overtime as required which will be paid as time and a half. Physically fit, able to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely; training will be provided. Superb customer service skills with a polite, professional and helpful manner.
