Van Driver with Forklift Licence

Job Title: Van Driver with Forklift Licence – £13.50 per hour – Southend
Location: Southend-on-Sea
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 14:00 – 22:00

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable Van Driver with a valid Forklift Licence to cover multiple local sites in the Southend area. This role involves driving between sites and carrying out loading and unloading duties using a forklift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive a van safely between multiple sites in the Southend area throughout the shift
• Load and unload goods using a forklift at each site
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries and collections
• Carry out basic vehicle checks before and after shifts
• Follow all health and safety procedures for driving and forklift operation
• Maintain good communication with site teams regarding schedules and deliveries

Requirements:

• Valid, in-date Forklift Licence (essential)
• Full UK Driving Licence with a maximum of 3 penalty points
• Previous experience in a similar driving and warehouse role is desirable
• Good timekeeping and reliability
• Comfortable working independently across multiple sites
• Physically fit for loading and unloading duties
