Van Driver / Warehouse Operative

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Van Driver to join a well-established business specialising in high-end furniture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for making deliveries across High Wycombe and the surrounding areas, while providing excellent customer service. This role involves a combination of driving and warehouse duties, with typical hours of per week. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with a permanent contract offered after successful completion of 12 weeks. Responsibilities Safely operate a van to deliver goods to various locations in line with delivery schedules Carry out pre-use vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled and secured correctly Maintain accurate delivery records and complete all required paperwork Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding deliveries and any issues Support warehouse operations when required, including stock organisation and general duties Requirements Previous experience as a Van Driver or in a similar role (commercial driving preferred) Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties Must be aged 25 or over (insurance purposes) No more than 6 penalty points on driving licence Strong communication skills and a professional manner Basic understanding of warehouse and logistics operations is advantageous ..... full job details .....
