The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Van Driver on behalf of a leading fresh food distribution company within the Hospitality and Catering sector based in Croydon.

Supplying fresh produce and food ingredients to schools, supermarkets, catering establishments, wholesalers and other commercial customers, our client is looking for reliable and hardworking drivers to join their growing team. These are excellent temp-to-perm opportunities with long-term career prospects.

Croydon

-13.50 per hour

• Monday, Wednesday & Friday
• Start time: 00:00
• Average shift length: 10 hours
• Finish times may vary depending on delivery volumes and routes

• Monday to Friday
• Start time: 04:00
• 40 hours per week

• Multi-drop deliveries of fresh produce and food products
• Delivering to schools, supermarkets, restaurants, catering businesses and other commercial customers
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Heavy lifting throughout the shift
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Conducting vehicle checks
• Providing excellent customer service

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Previous delivery driving experience preferred
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and physically demanding work
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable and punctual attitude
