Van Driver (Temp to Perm)

Direct Response Employment Services are delighted to be supporting our client in Salisbury in the recruitment of a van driver on a temporary to permanent basis.-

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced van driver to join a reputable business with branches across the UK.

• Safely operate a company van to deliver and collect goods in accordance with traffic laws and company procedures.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely collections and deliveries.
• Load, unload, and secure goods to prevent damage during transit.
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, collection notes, and proof of delivery documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with customers and clients.
• Keep the vehicle clean, roadworthy, and presentable at all times.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse and transport teams to support efficient operations.

The role will be a temporary to permanent position working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with a starting salary of -13.00 per hour and increase to -14.60 after 12 weeks, after 12 weeks you will transfer to a permanent contract with he company.-

Must have a valid driving licence with no more than 6 points or any bans / disqualifications and aged over 23 years for insurance.-
