About The RoleAre you looking for an opportunity to contribute towards Poppyscotlands annual Poppy Appeal?We are looking for a Temporary Driver to join us for our Poppy Appeal 2025, helping us deliver one of the nation''s most recognised and important fundraising campaigns. This is a vital role supporting our work during the busy appeal period, ensuring that materials and resources reach the right places at the right time.In addition, we''re looking to build a pool of casual drivers who can support us on a flexible basis throughout the year. By joining us on a casual contract, you''ll have the opportunity to get involved beyond the Poppy Appeal, helping us deliver across a range of activities and events whenever extra support is needed.Duties will include: - Delivering and collecting poppies and tins to and from shops and businesses across Greater Edinburgh area - Delivering and uplifting bulk orders to and from volunteer Area Organisers in and around Edinburgh. - Coordinating selected Poppy Appeal collection activities at various venues in central Edinburgh 20th October - 11th November - Communicating with volunteers and outlets in a positive and friendly manner - Collecting in monies and excess stock after Remembrance period from the outlets delivered toThe Poppy Appeal Drivers will have the following essential attributes: - Full, Clean UK Driving Licence with experience of driving a transit van - Physically able to lift and carry - Trustworthy and reliable - A flexible ..... full job details .....
