About the Role

The Van driver position in Exeter involves making home deliveries as part of a new, expanding team. This full-time role offers a Wednesday to Sunday shift pattern with 06:00 starts, averaging 12-18 drops per shift. The salary is £12.87 per hour, rising to £19.30 for overtime beyond 48 weekly hours. This is a temporary role with the potential to become permanent, and full training is provided. Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence with no more than six points for speeding, and be aged 21 or over for insurance. A theory and practical driving assessment will be required.

Duration: Temp to Perm (Full Time hours)
Full ‘on the job’ Training supplied

Requirements

Full UK Driving License (no more than 6 points for speeding only)
Aged 21 or older for insurance purposes
Complete a theory and driving-based assessment
Vehicle safety checks
Complete multi drop home furnishing deliveries within the local area to customers’ houses (Some heavy lifting involved - 2-person crew)
Must be happy to work as Driver's Mate as well as Van Driver
Good communication skills
Excellent customer service
