Night Van Driver/Warehouse Operative
Location: Redditch
Pay: £14.68 per hour, rising to £14.81 after 12 weeks
Hours: 46 hours per week. Overtime available.
Contract: Temp to perm, full-time night work
We are recruiting an experienced Van Driver/Warehouse Operative for ongoing night work with an established company based in Redditch.
This is a varied role combining multi-drop van deliveries with warehouse duties. You will help prepare and load your vehicle, complete scheduled deliveries and assist with returning and replenishing stock in the warehouse.
Working hours

• Monday: 20:00–07:30
• Wednesday: 20:00–07:30
• Thursday: 20:00–07:30
• Friday: 18:00–05:30
• Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday off
• 46 contracted hours per week

Pay rates

• £14.68 per hour
• Rising to £14.81 per hour after 12 weeks
• Overtime after 46 hours: £19.58 per hour
• Overtime after 12 weeks: £19.76 per hour

The role

• Completing multi-drop deliveries during night shifts
• Loading and organising your own delivery van
• Handling items weighing up to 20kg
• Using electronic handheld scanners
• Returning and replenishing stock within the warehouse
• Checking deliveries for accuracy
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks
• Providing a reliable and professional delivery service

Driver requirements
To be considered, you must:

• Have previous multi-drop van-driving experience
• Previous experience with handheld scanners
• Be comfortable working permanent night shifts
• Be physically fit and able to lift items weighing up to 20kg
• Be willing to assist with warehouse duties
• Be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes
• Hold a valid UK driving licence
• Have fewer than six points on your licence
• Have no driving endorsements
• Be dependable, punctual and able to work independently
