What you''ll be doing

Safely operate 3.5t vehicles on planned routes between mail centres, local businesses and customers.
The collections andamp; delivery of mail andamp; parcels efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
Multiple drops per shift, depending on route assigned.

What we''re looking for

Valid UK Cat B driving licence.
No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
1 years previous van driving experience within a logistics or distribution environment.
Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
