Van Driver - Grantham

Driver Hire Nottingham and Newark are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join one of our well-established clients based in Grantham on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position with no weekend work, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. The Role As a Van Driver, you will be based at the client''s Grantham depot, delivering and collecting laundry from a range of customers, including: Restaurants Hotels Larger commercial customers The role involves multi-drop deliveries and collections, along with loading and unloading the van yourself. The job includes regular cage work, so you must be comfortable with manual handling. Hours and Pay Monday to Friday Start times between 6:00am and 7:00am No weekends 12.71 per hour Overtime paid daily after 8 hours Overtime rate: 19.06 per hour Temp-to-perm opportunity Full-time permanent position available for the right candidate Requirements To be considered for this Van Driver position, you must have: A full UK driving licence 6 points or fewer on your licence Right to work in the UK Previous van driving experience A reliable and professional approach Good customer service skills The ability to load and unload laundry cages Multi-drop delivery experience is desirable but not essential.
