About the Role
Pertemps Warrington seeks Van Driver Days or Nights for a full-time, temp-to-perm post in Redditch. This automotive distribution operation requires drivers to load and deliver fragile items nationwide. Both shift patterns are available. Day shifts run Monday to Friday, 9:30am until 5:30pm, paying £13.77 hourly, rising to £14.29 after twelve weeks. Night shifts cover four duties across a six-night rota, Sunday to Thursday, 8:00pm until 7:30am, at £14.68 hourly, increasing to £14.81 later. Overtime is paid at time and a half. Candidates must be physically fit, dependable, and at ease with frequent lifting, as this hands-on work is demanding. A valid licence is essential.
VAN DRIVER DAYS OR NIGHTS

Pertemps are recruiting Van Drivers to join a busy automotive distribution operation based in Redditch. Both day and night shifts are available.
The role involves loading and delivering fragile products to customers nationwide. Due to the nature of the loads, this is a physically demanding, hands-on position requiring candidates to be fit, reliable and comfortable with regular lifting.
DAY SHIFTS
- Monday to Friday
- 9:30am–5:30pm
- £13.77 per hour
- Pay increases to £14.29 per hour after 12 weeks
NIGHT SHIFTS
- Four shifts assigned across a six-night rota
- Sunday to Thursday: 8:00pm–7:30am
- Friday: 6:00pm–5:30am
- No Saturday-night working
- £14.68 per hour
- Pay increases to £14.81 per hour after 12 weeks
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely load, secure and transport fragile products
- Complete nationwide, multi-drop deliveries efficiently and professionally
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Ensure the vehicle remains safe, clean and roadworthy
- Complete all deliveries accurately and within the required timescales
- Assist with warehouse duties, loading and stock handling when required
- Follow all company health and safety procedures
- Work flexibly to support changing operational requirements
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 25 years old for insurance purposes
- Full UK driving licence with fewer than six penalty points
- Previous van-driving experience
- Multi-drop experience
- Must be physically fit
- Flexible and reliable approach to working hours
- Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Redditch
