Van Driver (3.5 Tonne)

KPI Recruiting Ltd are looking for a reliable and motivated 3.5 Tonne Van Driver to join a well-known, world-leading car care company based in Middlewich. The Role

You will be responsible for delivering products to customers across a designated route area, ensuring a professional and efficient service at all times.

Typical delivery areas include:

• Staffordshire
• Lake District
• Merseyside
• Lancashire
• North Wales

Routes are generally allocated as:

• Monday – Staffordshire
• Tuesday – Lake District
• Wednesday – Merseyside
• Thursday & Friday – Lancashire

You can expect to complete between 10 and 15 deliveries per day, although this may vary depending on customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 3.5 tonne delivery van.
• Complete daily deliveries to customers across your designated route.
• Load your vehicle ready for the following day''s deliveries.
• Carry out vehicle checks and ensure compliance with driving regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Assist in the warehouse when required, particularly during larger stock deliveries every other week.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and professional working environment.

Hours of Work

This is a Monday to Friday role with no regular weekend work.

Standard hours are approximately 8:00am to 5:00pm, although some flexibility is required. Start and finish times may vary slightly depending on delivery schedules and traffic conditions. On some days, once deliveries are completed and the vehicle is prepared for the next day, you may finish earlier.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence.
• Previous van driving or delivery experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of road safety and driving regulations.
• Physically fit and capable of handling products weighing up to 25kg.
• Comfortable moving 200-litre barrels using ramps and trolleys provided.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
