Contract Assignment | Nuclear Outage Project | 2026

We are currently seeking experienced Valve Technicians to support a major nuclear outage project in the UAE.

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled valve maintenance professionals with proven nuclear outage experience to join a critical maintenance team within a world-class nuclear power generation environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform valve maintenance, inspection, testing, overhaul, refurbishment, and repair activities.
  • Support outage work scopes involving safety-related and operational valves.
  • Execute maintenance activities in accordance with approved procedures and quality standards.
  • Conduct valve inspections and identify defects requiring repair or replacement.
  • Assist with valve testing and functional verification activities.
  • Complete all maintenance documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful outage delivery.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous outage experience within an operational Nuclear Power Plant environment.
  • Strong valve maintenance, testing, and overhaul experience.
  • Experience working on nuclear primary-side systems and equipment.
  • Knowledge and experience of:
    • Feedwater (FW) Systems
    • Cooling Water (CW) Systems
    • Reactor Coolant Systems (RCS)
    • Air Operated Valves (AOV)
    • Motor Operated Valves (MOV)
  • Strong technical competency in valve maintenance and repair activities.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong understanding of nuclear safety and quality requirements.

Working Conditions

  • 8 hours per day, 6 days per week.
  • Pre-outage working schedule of approximately 40–48 hours per week.
  • Outage periods may require increased working hours, with overtime available where applicable.
  • Accommodation, meals, and transportation provided on site.
  • Shared accommodation provided.

Contract Details

  • Assignment duration of approximately 2 months.
  • Potential for extension based on project requirements.
  • Mobilisation anticipated from September 2026.
