This role involves a high level of responsibility, including the authority to halt unsafe work practices and conduct comprehensive assessments and repairs on a variety of valves and actuators. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a multi-discipline, dynamic work environment with potential to travel offshore. Day-to-day of the role: * Conduct full assessments and reports on valves, dismantle and troubleshoot issues to find root causes and solutions. * Perform Hydrostatic and Gas pressure testing of valves according to client specifications and internal procedures. * Identify and list spare requirements during strip and inspection processes. * Overhaul and test a wide range of valves and actuators, including ball valves, butterfly valves, and control panels. * Operate overhead gantry, jib cranes, and forklifts safely on a daily basis. * Build control panels and perform pipe work including leak testing. * Calibrate control valve positioners and generate test certifications for review and authorisation. * Collaborate with the Production Controller to pass o...
