The role drives the Parker Lean system and contributes to strategic goals. The manager is responsible for meeting the sales plan, reducing operating costs, improving cash flow and customer experience by executing a 50% lead time reduction on core parts. TheValue Stream Manager oversees day-to-day production, quality and ME activities to meet daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly expectations.Responsibilities

Responsible for the Value Stream PandL including cost analysis and opportunities, product line margin, deflation goals and manufacturing productivitySafety and duty of care of all team membersContribute to long term manufacturing strategies and automationStrong focused management of aged work orders in productionCompliance to manufacturing procedures, including ITAR and ensuring audit complianceOperational leadership including successful Lean implementation resulting in productivity gainsPositive mindset with an inclusive and inspiring management style to grow and develop the team''s potentialWho We Are Looking For

Proven experience in engineering or manufacturing background, preferably within AerospaceSure and credible leader who can develop, empower and engage large teamsAnalytical skills including previous experience of managing a budget; preparing reports and understanding KPI’s to drive focused decision making and performanceKnowledge of AS9100, Part 21, NADCAP (Heat treatment, welding, NDT, Chemical cleanliness) would be an advantageImplementation of Lean tools and techniques including VSM, SMED, SPC, JIT, 5S, visual management and TPMPlanning, project management and problem-solving skills i.e. A3s, PDCAExcellent coaching and problem-solving skillsWhat We Offer
