Senior Mechanical Engineer (V06090)Location: Barrow (Hybrid - 2-3 days per week on site)Rate: £44.00 per hour PAYE We''re recruiting for Senior Mechanical Engineers to join a leading defence programme in Barrow. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-profile engineering projects, supporting the design, development and delivery of advanced weapons systems within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.Key Responsibilities:Support the design and development of mechanical engineering solutions.Produce and review technical documentation and engineering designs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives.Ensure designs meet quality, safety and engineering standards.Requirements:Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).Previous experience in a Senior Mechanical Engineering role.Experience within defence, aerospace, marine, nuclear or another highly regulated industry is desirable.Strong communication skills and the ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.Security Requirements: Candidates must be eligible for BPSS, SC Clearance, and ITAR compliance.
