UX Development ManagerThis role will require 4 days per week in the officeUnfortunately my client can not sponsor a work VISA for this roleThe Manager, UX Development role leads my cleints UX Development team globally and oversees front-end development activities for their software products, ensuring that they are effective, efficient, satisfying and safe to use. This encompasses building and supporting the their Design System via the UI Monorepo and the their Component Library (ECL), along with support of other product technologies, to ensure products are consistent and joined up.Responsibilities:Line-manage a team of individual UX Developers, responsible for hiring, performance management, career development, and motivating the team towards excellent performanceUnderstand my clients Products and their contexts, to be able to prioritise the resourcing of their team to the most important products/ projects, creating the greatest possible UX/ product quality, development efficiency and measurable business impactDevelop and maintain a network of stakeholders; in particular, leaders in the Product and Engineering divisions. Understand the needs of these stakeholders, agree with them the scope of work, and ensure they are kept up to date with progressSupport the Head of UXandD in evangelising the benefits of User-Centred Design across the business, including collating and communicating a set of compelling case studies where UCD has made a measurable business impactMaintain a ..... full job details .....
