Summary

Our client is looking for a UX Designer to help shape clear, accessible and user-friendly digital experiences across complex pensions and benefits journeys. You''ll work closely with users, stakeholders and delivery teams to understand needs, simplify processes and turn insight into practical design solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and run user research, workshops and interviews to understand user needs, behaviours and pain points.
• Map user journeys and identify opportunities to improve, simplify and streamline the experience.
• Create wireframes, user flows and interactive prototypes to communicate and test design ideas.
• Support future-state process design alongside Business Analysts, ensuring solutions are usable, practical and aligned to business goals.
• Collaborate with Architects, Developers and delivery teams to ensure designs are feasible and implemented effectively.
• Use research, stakeholder feedback and usability insight to iterate and refine designs.
• Champion accessibility, usability and user-centred design throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience in UX design, user research or a related digital design role.
• Strong understanding of user-centred design, information architecture, interaction design and usability principles.
• Experience producing wireframes, prototypes, journey maps and user flows using Figma or similar tools.
• Ability to translate complex business processes into simple, intuitive and accessible digital experiences.
• Confident facilitator with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Comfortable working with Business Analysts, Architects, Developers and delivery teams in agile or project-based environments.
• Good awareness of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
