UX Designer - Public Sector Leeds - Hybrid (3 days per week onsite)? 6-month contract Inside IR35 Day rate negotiableWe''re looking for an experienced UX Designer to join a major public sector digital transformation programme on an initial 6-month contract.You''ll work as part of a multidisciplinary digital team, designing accessible, intuitive and user-centred digital services. Working closely with User Researchers, Product Managers, Content Designers, Business Analysts and technical teams, you''ll use research and evidence to understand user needs and translate them into effective service experiences.We''re looking for someone with:Strong experience working as a UX Designer, Interaction Designer or similar UCD roleExperience designing complex digital products and servicesPrevious government or public sector experience would be highly advantageousStrong understanding of user-centred design (UCD) principles and methodologiesExperience creating user journeys, wireframes, prototypes and interaction designsExperience using research and usability testing to iterate and improve designsStrong understanding of accessibility and inclusive designExperience working within multidisciplinary Agile teamsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsKnowledge of GDS Service Standards and GOV.UK design patterns would be advantageousThis is a hybrid role based in Leeds, with 3 days per week onsite mandatory and the remaining days working remotely.
