Utility Surveyor (Essex)

Our client, a reputable consultancy in the surveying sector, is seeking an experienced Utility Surveyor to join their team based in Essex. This permanent role offers a fantastic opportunity for those skilled in site surveys and with a passion for teaching others while working within a collaborative and friendly team environment.Key Responsibilities:Conducting comprehensive site surveys using advanced tools and techniques such as Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and radio detectionProcessing survey data utilising software like AutoCAD and N4CECollaborating with a team of 3-4 underground services surveyors to ensure accurate and efficient survey resultsMaintaining and operating survey vans and equipmentTravelling to various locations within the South East, including London, Essex, and occasionally Kent and BrightonJob Requirements:Experience in utility surveying with intermediate level expertise (2-3 years preferred)Minimum Level 3 QCF qualification in a relevant fieldProficiency in the use of AutoCAD for processing survey dataStrong understanding of GPR and radio detection technologiesAbility to teach and mentor team members effectivelyGood organisational and time-management skillsClose attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesWillingness to travel as requiredBenefits:Competitive salary and additional pay for night workComprehensive health insurance schemeGenerous holiday allowance including 25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysAccess to a well-equipped survey van and ..... full job details .....
