Utility Operative
Location: ST1 Stoke on Trent
Working schedule: 7am - 3pm Monday to Thursday and 7am - 2pm on Fridays (39 hours a week)
Rate of pay: -12.71ph
Contract type: Temporary ongoing
Adecco are looking for proactive and dependable Utility Operatives to support our client''s factory floor team. This is a crucial and physical role to ensure that production moves smoothly, transporting ware between departments and providing cover in other departments when needed.
Key responsibilities:
- Load and move ceramic ware safely and efficiently around the factory using ware trucks across multiple departments
- Assist with maintaining workflow and production efficiency
- Opportunity to train across different factory areas when needed to provide cover during sickness and holiday periods
- Follow health, safety, and quality procedures at all times
What we are looking for:
- Previous factory or manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential
- Willingness to learn and train across multiple roles when needed
- Reliable, hardworking, and flexible in approach
- Ability to work well as part of a team
