As a Utility Detection Technician, you''ll play a vital role in preventing utility strikes and ensuring our projects are delivered safely and efficiently. Using cutting-edge surveying technology, you''ll help project teams understand what''s beneath the surface before work begins. Key responsibilities include: Carrying out detailed site surveys to identify and map underground and overhead utilities Using specialist equipment including Ground Penetration Radar (GPR), CAT and Genny to locate and investigate services Marking and recording utility locations accurately and communicating findings to operational teams Interpreting utility drawings and translating technical information into clear, practical guidance Supporting Safe Systems of Work and providing expert advice during planned works and site emergencies What are we looking for?
