Our client is seeking a skilled User Researcher to join a multidisciplinary team in the public sector. You''ll help us understand users'' needs, identify the problems our service should solve, and turn research into clear, practical recommendations that inform decisions and improve outcomes.This is a six-month contract, with a possibility of extension. You''ll work closely with colleagues across the team, making research a continuous part of how we design and deliver services.What you''ll do Understand the problem the team is trying to solve and plan research that supports informed decisions and action.Select and apply appropriate user research methods at different stages of service development.Recruit and involve a diverse range of users, ensuring research activities are accessible and appropriate.Analyse research data, synthesise findings and communicate clear, actionable insights.Work with a multidisciplinary team to plan and carry out continuous research.Involve colleagues in research activities, analysis and synthesis, helping the team build a shared understanding of users.Contribute to an agile way of working, adapting research plans as the team learns, and priorities change.
