Operating within complex environments and sensitive policy areas, you will plan and lead user research activities to help shape critical public services that adhere strictly to GDS standards.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild andamp; Align: Establish user-centred practices within new teams and align research activities with wider strategic plans to inform the service proposition.Leadership andamp; Development: Supervise, mentor, and develop other user researchers to assure and consistently improve research practice.Methodology: Cohesively explain processes and research methods to diverse groups.Sensitive andamp; Complex Contexts: Work effectively in high-scrutiny environments, managing press attention and designing/researching with vulnerable users, including those with specific access needs or accessibility requirements.Stakeholder Management: Navigate and engage challenging stakeholders, successfully advocating for User-Centred Design (UCD) in fast-paced delivery environments.Essential CriteriaActive Home Office-sponsored SC Clearance (Mandatory).Proven public sector experience and strong alignment with GDS ..... full job details .....
