User Researcher

Your new company Hays are currently recruiting for a User Researcher to join a large-scale digital transformation programme based in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary delivery team, helping to shape and improve digital services through user-centred design and evidence-based decision-making. Your new role Plan, design and conduct user research across a range of digital products and services. Engage with users and stakeholders to understand needs, behaviours and pain points. Analyse research findings and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Present research outcomes to stakeholders in a clear and engaging way. Work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Service Designers, UX Designers and Delivery Teams. Champion user-centred design principles throughout the project life cycle. What you''ll need to succeed Proven experience working as a User Researcher within digital transformation programmes. Strong understanding and practical experience of Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and service design principles. Experience planning and delivering a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods. Ability to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience working within agile, multidisciplinary teams. Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills. What you''ll get in return Initial 6-month contract with potential extension.
