Job Title: User Interface Engineer (Contract)Duration: 6 Months Location: Remote (UK-based) with quarterly on-site visits (Bristol)OverviewWe are supporting a leading organisation at the centre of the UK''s energy infrastructure in their search for a User Interface Engineer on an initial 6-month contract.You will join a web development function, working within a customer-focused Scrum team to deliver and enhance two Angular-based applications-one internal platform used by operational staff, and one customer-facing application.This role focuses on building intuitive, high-performance interfaces for complex, data-driven systems, improving usability across both internal and external user journeys.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain user interfaces across two Angular applications (internal and customer-facing)Work within a Scrum / Agile delivery team, contributing to all Agile ceremoniesCollaborate with UX designers, backend engineers, and product stakeholdersTranslate complex requirements into clean, intuitive UI solutionsBuild scalable, maintainable front-end components using modern AngularEnsure high standards of performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibilityDevelop and maintain unit, integration, and BDD-style testsContribute to shared component libraries and UI standardsParticipate in code reviews and continuous improvementRequired Skills and ExperienceStrong commercial experience with Angular 18+Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, and CSSStrong experience ..... full job details .....
