US/UK Tax Consultant - Shropshire (Hybrid/Remote) Job Type: PermanentLocation: Shropshire (Hybrid/Remote)Salary: Negotiable + Bonus + Benefits Working closely with Tax Managers and experienced colleagues, you''ll support UK and US individual tax returns, compliance activities and tax research. It''s a role for someone who enjoys detailed work, is comfortable asking questions and wants to take on greater responsibility as their technical knowledge grows. You''ll help turn client information into accurate, timely tax submissions, building your understanding of the compliance process from initial information requests through to return preparation. The Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for:- Assisting with the preparation of UK and US individual tax returns.- Preparing annual tax return information requests to support tax preparation and planning and following up on missing client information and documentation.- Supporting compliance deadlines through accurate work, organised records and effective prioritisation.- Researching straightforward tax queries using reliable sources, including HMRC, the IRS and relevant financial and tax resources.- Keeping your knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements up to date.- Supporting client calls and meetings, taking comprehensive notes and gathering the ..... full job details .....
