Job Title: UPVC Repairs OperativeJob Type: Permanent, Full-TimeJob Category: Property ServicesLocation: HertfordshireHours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 am - 5:00 pmSalary: 24.40 per hourWe have an opportunity for a UPVC Repairs Operative to join a growing Repairs team at a local housing association. This is a mobile role covering a property portfolio across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire and surrounding areas.Responsibilities:Carrying out repairs and overhauls to existing UPVC windows and doors across housing stock (no new installations).Repairing and replacing hinges, handles, locks, multi-point locking mechanisms and espagnolette bolts.Adjusting and realigning sagging or misaligned doors and window sashes.Replacing failed or misted double-glazed units and glazing beads where required.Replacing worn seals, gaskets, weather strips and draught excluders.Repairing and replacing cylinders, keeps, restrictors and door furniture.Completing responsive repairs, planned maintenance work and follow-on repairs, aiming to fix first time wherever possible.Ensuring all repairs are completed safely and in line with relevant legislation, regulations and company procedures.Accurately completing job records, paperwork and updates using mobile working technology.Delivering excellent customer service and representing the organisation professionally at all times.Building positive relationships with residents and colleagues.Identifying and ..... full job details .....
