Upper KS2 English Lead in Kensington

MPS/UPS + TLR (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced and passionate Upper Key Stage 2 teacher with a flair for English and a desire to lead? A vibrant and inclusive primary school in the heart of Kensington is seeking a dynamic Upper KS2 Class Teacher to take on the additional responsibility of English Lead from September 2025.

About the Role:

• Full-time class teaching responsibility in Year 5 or Year 6
• Lead the development and delivery of the English curriculum across the school
• Drive high standards in reading, writing, and oracy
• Support colleagues through coaching, modelling, and CPD
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of English teaching and learning
  
  

What We''re Looking For:

• A qualified teacher with QTS and proven Upper KS2 experience
• A strong track record of raising attainment in English
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for literacy
• Leadership experience or clear potential to lead a core subject
• A collaborative and reflective practitioner
