Supply Desk are working with a fantastic primary school in Chatham that are looking for a passionate, adaptable, and reliable Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team starting from Easter 2025. This is a long-term, full-time position, with full teacher responsibilities, and the opportunity to be paid to scale. You will be part of a supportive team of two other teachers, ensuring a collaborative and positive environment for both staff and students.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across the upper Key Stage 2 curriculum, supporting students'' academic and personal development. The school are looking for a teacher who is passionate about education, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively with a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Assess studentsandrsquo; progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support their learning.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting respect and cooperation among students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide a consistent, supportive learning environment.
• Communicate with parents and carers to support studentsandrsquo; educational and personal development.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest educational practices.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2, with a proven ability to raise attainment in upper Key Stage 2.
• Be passionate about education and dedicated to fostering a love of learning in students.
• Be organised, adaptable, and proactive in creating an engaging and supportive classroom environment.
• Have a current, valid DBS check, or be willing to obtain one.
