Academics are currently recruiting for an Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher to work across primary schools in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher looking for flexible, temporary ongoing supply work across a variety of schools.

Position: Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: -130 - -190 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)
Start Date: ASAP / September

About the Role

As an Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will teach pupils across Years 5 and 6 in primary schools throughout Doncaster. Assignments may include full-class teaching, planned lessons and day-to-day or longer-term cover, depending on the needs of each school.

The Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher will be expected to create a positive classroom environment, deliver engaging lessons and maintain high expectations for pupils. Academics work with a wide variety of primary schools across Doncaster, giving you the opportunity to experience different school settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach engaging and well-structured lessons across Years 5 and 6
• Follow school planning and curriculum expectations
• Manage the classroom effectively and maintain positive behaviour
• Support pupils'' academic and personal development
• Assess and monitor pupil progress where required
• Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet different learning needs

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous primary teaching experience, particularly within Upper KS2
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach
• Good knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Strong communication and organisational skills
