Hours: Monday to  Thursday 6am-2pm & Friday 6am-1pm

Hourly rate: £13.44 per hour

gap personnel Bristol are operating as an employment business and currently looking to recruit X2 Upholsterers for a client based in Melksham, SN12. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Assemble furniture to the correct method set by design and development and to the correct quality standard as trained and documented by the company.
• Work within the guidelines of the company''s health and safety policy.
• Ensure all areas of health and safety are adhered to, and correct use PPE.
• Safety glasses, hearing protection and safety footwear to be worn at all times while on the factory floor. (other forms of PPE are available such as dust masks/gloves if required)
• Adhere to department housekeeping, ensuring all areas and workstations are kept tidy, safe and in full working order
• Ensure all tools and equipment are kept tidy, safe and in full working order.
• Ensure correct manual handling of product, as not to cause damage to product or oneself.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

The Candidate:

• Proven experience as an Upholsterer is essential
• Familiarity with factory environments and processes will be beneficial
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow design specifications accurately is crucial for success in this role
