This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career within education and gain valuable experience supporting children and young people with additional needs. You will work alongside experienced teaching staff to provide support both in and outside of the classroom, helping pupils to engage with learning, develop their confidence and overcome barriers to education.Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis.Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning tasks.Supporting pupils with additional, behavioural, social and emotional needs.Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils.Encouraging engagement, confidence, independence and positive behaviour.Supporting pupils to manage emotions and challenging situations.Helping to maintain a safe, structured and supportive learning environment.Following individual learning, behaviour and support plans.Working closely with teachers and wider support staff to meet individual needs.Promoting positive attitudes towards learning and personal development.Essential RequirementsEnhanced Child DBS - you must already have one on ..... full job details .....
