Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs? Are you looking for a rewarding full-time role within specialist education?
We are currently recruiting Unqualified Teaching Assistants to work across specialist provisions in the Chorley area. You will be supporting both primary and secondary-aged students with a range of additional needs, helping them to engage in education, develop independence and reach their full potential.

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
• Support both primary and secondary-aged students within specialist provisions.
• Assist pupils with learning, communication, social and emotional development.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with students.
• Support teachers with classroom activities and individual learning plans.
• Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Encourage independence, confidence and positive engagement.
• Support pupils to overcome barriers to learning.

• A caring, patient and resilient individual.
• A genuine interest in supporting children and young people with additional needs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to adapt to different specialist school environments.
• A positive and proactive approach to supporting pupils.

• Enhanced Child DBS, or willingness to apply and pay for one.
• A minimum of 24 months of professional employment references.
• The right to work in the UK.
• Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday.
• Ability to travel across the Chorley area.
