The Role

As an Unqualified Teacher, you will play an important role in maintaining continuity of learning throughout the school day. You will deliver pre-planned lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring pupils remain engaged and complete the work set by the class teacher. The role also involves managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies, creating a positive and focused learning environment, and supporting students where needed to help them stay on track with their learning.

You will also have the opportunity to work with students of different abilities, including those with additional needs, while building strong and professional relationships with pupils and staff.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from graduates considering teacher training, aspiring teachers looking to gain practical classroom experience, and individuals with experience working with young people. The ideal candidate will be confident leading a classroom of students aged 11–16, adaptable to different subjects and school environments, and able to communicate clearly with both students and staff. Previous experience in schools or youth settings can be beneficial but is not essential, as support will be provided.
