About the Role:

As an Unqualified Teacher, you''ll take the lead in delivering pre-set lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring students stay focused and engaged in their learning. While you won''t be expected to plan or assess, your role is crucial in maintaining a productive learning environment and supporting student progress.

You''ll work closely with school staff and receive ongoing support and guidance from our experienced agency team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Manage behaviour and uphold school policies in the classroom
  • Support students with their learning and answer questions as needed
  • Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Report back on student engagement, behaviour, and progress
  • Liaise with teaching staff and senior leaders as necessary

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young people (e.g., in education, coaching, mentoring, or youth work)
  • Confidence to lead and manage a classroom independently
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK and willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check
  • A degree or relevant experience in an education-related field is desirable, but not essential
