A thriving, inclusive primary school in Brent is seeking a dedicated Unqualified SEN Teacher to lead a specialist provision classroom supporting pupils with autism in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 (Years 1 4). This is a long-term, full-time opportunity, ideal for someone with strong SEN experience who s ready to step up into a teaching role no formal teaching qualification required. Key Responsibilities Lead a small, structured class for pupils diagnosed with Autism (ASC) Deliver adapted lessons in Phonics, Maths, and Writing Support pupils with individual education plans (IEPs) Promote communication, social development, and independence Collaborate with the SENCO, senior leadership team, and therapists Oversee and guide a team of four experienced Teaching Assistants Track pupil progress and adapt strategies based on ongoing assessment Maintain a positive, calm, and inclusive classroom environment Student Profile Pupils aged between 5 and 9 years old (Years 1 4) All have a formal diagnosis of Autism (ASC) Includes non-verbal pupils and those with additional learning needs Wide range of academic levels and learning profiles Person Specification Who Should Apply We welcome applications from: Individuals with a background in special needs or autism education ..... full job details .....
