Unqualified Primary Teaching Assistant

The RoleAs an Unqualified Teaching Assistant, you will support teaching and learning across various year groups, helping children engage, progress, and feel confident in school.Key Responsibilities: Support pupils in class under the guidance of the teacher Provide 1:1 or small group support when required Assist in delivering engaging learning activities Encourage positive behaviour and build pupil confidence Help with classroom setup, resources, and general daily routines Support pupils with a range of abilities, including SEND Skills and Experience RequiredEssential: Experience working or volunteering with children/young people within the last 2 years Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach Good communication skills and a genuine interest in educationDesirable: Experience in roles such as coaching, tutoring, youth work, mentoring, childcare, or similar Experience working with SEND (not essential) Why Work with Aspire People?
