The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you''ll support children aged 0-5 years, helping to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, play and develop in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting children''s learning and development through fun, engaging and play-based activities
• Assisting with daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care and outdoor play
• Supporting children''s social, emotional and communication development
• Helping to maintain a safe, clean and stimulating nursery environment
• Working as part of a team to meet the individual needs of each child
• Building positive relationships with children, staff and parents/carers
• Supporting nursery staff with the smooth running of the setting

We''re Looking For

You do not need a formal Early Years qualification for this role. We''re looking for individuals with the right attitude, enthusiasm and commitment to working with young children.

Ideally, you''ll have:

• Experience working with children in a nursery, school, childcare or similar setting - desirable but not essential
• A genuine passion for working with young children
• A caring, patient and positive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A flexible and reliable attitude
• A willingness to learn and develop within the Early Years sector
• The ability to adapt quickly to different nursery environments
