Unqualified Motor Mechanic Lecturer

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Mchanicfor a permanent position at a college we partner with.-This role will support the delivery of -light vehicle maintenanceapprenticeship programmes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Mechanic professional or-trainer with experience in further education or apprenticeships to step into a well-established programme and support learner progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver practical and theoretical sessions across Light vehicle apprenticeships
• Support apprentices in developing industry-standard skills and knowledge
• Maintain a safe and engaging learning environment in line with health and safety regulations
• Monitor learner progress and provide feedback where required

Requirements:

• Relevant industry experience in Mechanic (essential)
• Experience delivering training or working with apprentices/learners (preferred)
• Level 3 in light vehicle (Essential)
• A teaching qualification (or willingness to work within FE standards) is desirable
• Strong communication and organisational skills

Additional Information:

• Full-time hours (37 per week)
• Based on-site in Consett, County Durham
• Short-term agency assignment covering two separate weeks
