Unqualified Motor Mechanic Lecturer
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Mchanic for a permanent position at a college we partner with. This role will support the delivery of light vehicle maintenance apprenticeship programmes. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Mechanic professional or trainer with experience in further education or apprenticeships to step into a well-established programme and support learner progression. Key Responsibilities: Deliver practical and theoretical sessions across Light vehicle apprenticeships Support apprentices in developing industry-standard skills and knowledge Maintain a safe and engaging learning environment in line with health and safety regulations Monitor learner progress and provide feedback where required Requirements: Relevant industry experience in Mechanic (essential) Experience delivering training or working with apprentices/learners (preferred) Level 3 in light vehicle (Essential) A teaching qualification (or willingness to work within FE standards) is desirable Strong communication and organisational skills Additional Information: Full-time hours (37 per week) Based on-site in Consett, County Durham Short-term agency assignment covering two separate weeks Beneifts Salary - 40k plus 5k grant Penison - 21% Holidays - up to 50 dayss, school holidays! ..... full job details .....
